Speed skater and coach

​

A dozen Finnish national titles, top level experience in The Netherlands and temperatures from -20 until +30, Carolien skated a 'multiskate-career'. Competitive in long track speed skating and marathon skating, and inline and short track on the side.

Now, a Physical Education degree in combination with a KNSB coach diploma and an ongoing Master studies in Sport Development and Management, plus over 13 years of coaching experience makes Carolien able to develop the skating clubs and skating academy in the Helsinki region (Finland) and to educate coaches internationally for the International Skating Union.
